The pieces will remain on the Web page for awhile -- or until the person who submitted the item for display requests that the piece be removed. We look forward to displaying your work! The following are examples of how the information will be displayed. Note: For those of you who are technically inclined - The shown image is aimed at having maximum dimensions of 500 pixels in height and 400 pixels for width. We will adjust images that are larger than these dimensions and try to keep any larger-image's quality if resized smaller. We use PaintShop Pro to assist in these matters. Lastly: References to "Archangel Fabrics" pertain to the store that previously was open in Raleigh NC. The store closed its doors end-May 2006. Many of the following quilts were quilted by us while we were located in that store. |

Entered the gallery: August 10, 2006 Piece Name: Pick Your Churn Dash Artist: Myra Martin, NC The individual churn dash blocks were made by members of two different bees, an internet bee called Aspiring Quilters and my afternoon bee here in Raleigh, which means that the blocks are from quilters all over the country and Raleigh as well. I finished it in April of this year after collecting the blocks for several years. My afternoon bee was very helpful in contributing ideas to the overall design and Tess finished it off beautifully. Entered the gallery: January 6, 2006 Piece Name: The Crazy Therapy Quilt Artist: Kerri Frischknect, Herisau Switzerland As I work hard in my job, and at home, I decided to get together with an old friend once a week to sew. We used to do this years ago when our kids were little. This weekly "therapy" was really good for me, and got my mind off work/etc. I am very pleased with how this quilt ended up. The quilting (by Tess) is just great, as well. A Closer Look
